Interior Photography – 55 Spring Gardens Office Refurbishment, Manchester

I love photographing architecture and interior space. It doesn’t matter to me whether it is a portal frame industrial shed or contemporary mixed use development. There is always some interesting detail or angle to make that building look special in its own way.

It is always personally, a genuine bonus though when I get the opportunity to photograph a really amazing space. The very recently completed exterior and interior office refurbishment of 55 Spring Gardens, Manchester is one of those spaces.

The reception and lobby is spacious and modern with a relaxing atmosphere created through carefully designed lighting and elegant furnishings you would expect to only find in the finest of hotels. The entrance exterior cannot be missed through its distinctive and bright but sophisticated illuminated portico. Take 5 @ 55 next door was also incorporated into the scheme and was fully refurbished.

There are so many design features and work involved worth describing, including those to the upper floors, that are beyond my knowledge of design that I can’t even attempt to. For further information please visit

A thoroughly beautifully designed and refurbished space that it was a pleasure to photograph.
